The Super Eagles’ scheduled team walk ahead of the crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash against Lesotho was called off due to heavy rainfall in Polokwane.

The downpour lasted several hours, disrupting pre-match routines and keeping the players indoors for safety reasons.

Conditions around the New Peter Mokaba Stadium have improved ahead of kick-off.

The match will start at 5pm Nigerian time.
