Running back rankings for the 2026 NFL Draft

We have already released our quarterback rankings for the 2026 NFL Draft; now, we pivot to the running backs. With one star at the top, some believe this is a down year for the position. However, I would disagree, as there is ample talent to be found on day three of the draft.

Here are my top 10 rankings:

  • 1) Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame
  • 2) Nick Singleton, Penn State
  • 3) Demond Claiborne, Wake Forest
  • 4) Jadarian Price, Notre Dame
  • 5) Jonah Coleman, Washington
  • 6) Kaytron Allen, Penn State
  • 7) Emmett Johnson, Nebraska
  • 8) Mike Washington Jr., Arkansas
  • 9) J’Mari Taylor, Virginia
  • 10) Kaelon Black, Indiana

The word generational gets thrown around far too often, but in the case of Jeremiyah Love, it certainly fits. The rankings start after him, and heed the word that people are sleeping on Nick Singleton. Don’t let a down year fool you: he would have been arguably the top prospect last year. Speaking of not sleeping on someone, don’t be surprised when Demond Claiborne is a top fantasy running back two years into his career. I believe there are six starters hidden in this draft, but quality backups scattered throughout.
