APPLETON – The Polar Bears scored single runs in the third, fourth and sixth inning en route to the Fox Valley Association win.
The Lightning scored its lone run in the seventh.
Ella Vanderwielen and Samantha D’Addario each drove in a run for Hortonville.
Sawyer Haessly was 3-for-3, while Valerie Baranczyk added two hits for North.
Grace Danoski pitched a complete game for Hortonville. She allowed eight hits, walked three and struck out four.
Kimberly 11, Appleton West 4
APPLETON – The Papermakers scored in all but two innings en route to the Fox Valley Association win.
Kimberly scored one in the first, three in the second, five in the third, one in the fourth and one in the sixth.
The Terrors scored one in the second, one in the fourth and two in the fifth.
Lillian Hanke was 2-for-4 with a double, while Ali Raddatz added a double for Appleton West.
Fox Valley Lutheran 22, Shawano 2
SHAWANO – Natalie Bromm drove in seven runs on four hits to lead Fox Valley Lutheran to the Bay Conference win.
Bromm hit an inside-the-park home run in the seventh inning to score three runs, hit a two-run double in the second, an RBI double in the third and drew a bases-loaded walk.
Madison Babcock earned the win, striking out four and walking none. Paige Leavitt pitched three innings in relief for the Foxes. She gave up three hits and one run, while striking out one and walking none.
Kadence Meyers took the loss for Shawano. The starting pitcher went three innings, surrendering 10 runs (five earned) on nine hits, striking out two and walking none.
FVL amassed 18 hits in the game as Leavitt, Claire Pfrang, Babcock and Tenley Wolfrath each collected multiple hits.
Kadence Meyers and Jacey Cowden each drove in one run for Shawano.
Seymour 13, Xavier 1
APPLETON – The Thunder scored in all but one inning en route to the Bay Conference win.
Seymour scored one in the first and second, two in the third, three in the fifth, one in the sixth and five in the seventh.
The Hawks scored their lone run in the fifth.
Kendra Rettler powered the Thunder with four hits, including one double, one homer and four RBIs.
Kaylee Rettler added three hits and two RBIs, while Adde Smith had two hits and three RBIs and Aryah Krahn added two hits, including a double, and one RBI.
Abby Ourada had a hit and an RBI for Xavier.
New London 3, Menasha 1
MENASHA – The Bulldogs snapped a 1-1 tie with two runs in the third to earn the Bay Conference win.
Ellie Winkelman was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, while Laine Fiane was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs. Also picking up two hits for New London was Chesney Magolski.
Menasha was led by Bella Sonnenberg and Haylee Stobb, both with two hits.
Luxemburg-Casco 12, Little Chute 0
LITTLE CHUTE – Alayna Deprez was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, while Rylan Kaminski was 2-for-3 with a double, home run and four RBIs as the Spartans cruised past the Mustangs in North Eastern Conference action.
Claire Schleis was also 2-for-4 with a double, triple and three RBIs for Luxemburg-Casco.
The Spartans scored one run in the first, six in the second, two in the fourth and three in the fifth.
Jasmine Jandrin earned the win in the circle, pitching five innings and allowing three hits and two walks while striking out 10.
Denmark 7, Freedom 3
FREEDOM – The Vikings scored two runs in the first, one in the fourth and four in the seventh to outlast the Irish.
Freedom scored two runs in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Shae Kraschnewski pitched 5⅔ innings to get the win. She allowed two hits, one run (unearned), walked two and struck out two.
Kraschnewski, Kylee Kersten and Maggie Frank each had two hits for Denmark. Kersten hit a home run, and Vanny Umentum and Kersten each drove in two runs.
Brooke Sowinski led the Irish with two hits, including a double, while Kourtney Moeller added a double and two RBIs.
Clintonville 1, Amherst 0
AMHERST – Claire Papendorf blanked the Falcons, pitching seven innings and allowing three hits and one walk while striking out eight to power the Truckers to the nonconference win.
Emily Hagman was 2-for-2 with a run scored to lead Clintonville. Also powering the Truckers were Maddy LaViolette with a double and Caitlyn Prue with an RBI.
Sam Nooyen had two hits for Amherst.
St. Mary Catholic 9, Hilbert 0
FOX CROSSING – Gabby Guerrero pitched a complete-game shutout to lead the Zephyrs to the victory over the Wolves.
Guerrero allowed five hits, walked two and struck out eight for the victory as the Zephyrs improved to 3-0 in the Big East Conference and 5-2 overall.
Emmi Weiss had two hits, including a double, drove in three runs and scored two runs for the Zephyrs. Breanna Neubert had three hits, a double and drove in two runs. Scarlett Reichenbacher added two hits and Illa Moder hit a double.
Leigha Wunrow hit a triple for Hilbert.
Iola-Scandinavia 9, Manawa 8
IOLA – Trailing 6-0, Iola-Scandinavia scored three runs in the fourth inning and six runs in the fifth inning and held on for the Central Wisconsin Conference-East victory.
The Thunderbirds improved their conference record to 2-2 and are 4-3 overall. Manawa dropped to 1-3 in the conference and 2-4 overall.
The T-Birds outhit the Wolves 13-9. Brooklyn Berrens, Rayanne Clendenning, Brylee Jueds, Maggie Maus and Ava Printz each had two hits for Iola-Scandinavia. Berrens, Charlotte Isermann and Braelyn Jueds each had a double. Clendenning added a triple.
Clendenning went the distance to earn the win. Clendenning had three walks and four strikeouts.
Menominee Nation 17, Weyauwega-Fremont 10
WEYAUWEGA – The Eagles outlasted the Warhawks in a Central Wisconsin Conference slugfest.
Menominee Nation scored two in the first, two in the third, four in the fourth, three in the fifth, one in the sixth and five in the seventh.
Weyauwega-Fremont scored one in the second, two in the fourth, three in the sixth and four in the seventh.
Gloriana Wayka had the hot bat for the Eagles, going 5-for-5 with three RBIs and four runs scored. Cecilia Grignow was 2-for-6 with an RBI and three runs scored, while Natalie Peters added a triple and two RBIs for Menominee Nation.
Appleton East 14, St. Mary Catholic 8 (Monday)
FOX CROSSING – The Patriots scored three runs in the first inning and four in the second to jump out to a 7-2 lead in the nonconference win over the Zephyrs.
Nina Kubiak was 3-for-3 with two home runs, three runs scored and four RBIs for the Patriots. Reese Reichelt, Lydia Dahlman and Miley Bee added two hits each. Aubrie Erickson, Grace Fecteau and Aubrey Heinz each added two RBIs.
Breanna Neubert was 3-for-3 with a double and an RBI for SMC. Sammi Weiss had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Scarlett Reichenbacher also had two hits.
Emma Jacobs pitched five innings to get the win. She allowed five hits, five runs (zero earned) and struck out two.
BASEBALL
Neenah 6, Appleton East 1
APPLETON – The Rockets scored two runs in the second inning, two in the fifth and two in the sixth in the Fox Valley Association win over the Patriots.
Gus Weinholzer pitched a complete game for Neenah. He allowed three hits, one unearned run, walked one and struck out nine.
James Weiland had two hits and drove in two runs for Neenah. Henry St. Clair had two hits and one RBI.
Nick Verbeten pitched a complete game for Appleton East. He allowed eight hits, three earned runs, walked one and struck out two.
Kimberly 13, Appleton West 0
APPLETON – The Papermakers hit four home runs in the five-inning Fox Valley Association victory over the Terrors.
Lex Knaebe had two hits, including a home run, and drove in four runs. Shaefer Peterson had two hits, a home run and scored three runs. Beckett Hermus hit a home run and scored two runs, and Maddux Hermus hit a home run and drove in four runs. Ryan Halfmann added two hits, including a double, for Kimberly.
Maddux Hermus pitched five innings, allowed one hit and struck out 10 batters to get the win.
Reeder Luedtke had the only hit for Appleton West.
Appleton North 4, Hortonville 1
APPLETON – Cash Christianson pitched six innings to get the win and lead the Lightning to the Fox Valley Association victory over the Polar Bears.
Christianson struck out six batters and allowed one run (unearned).
Matthew Hietpas was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for North. Aedan Waterstreet and Owen Reuland also had doubles.
Little Chute 3, Luxemburg-Casco 0
LITTLE CHUTE – The Mustangs scored twice in the first inning and once in the third to defeat the Spartans in a North Eastern Conference game.
Jaden Hermsen had an RBI single in the first inning for Little Chute. Gerrit Wittman had an RBI single in the third inning.
Wittman and Trevor Verhagen each had two hits for the Mustangs.
Hermsen earned the win for Little Chute. He allowed three hits and no runs in 5⅔ innings, striking out nine and walking four.
Gavin Lax started, went five innings and took the loss for Luxemburg-Casco.
Wrightstown 8, Freedom 5
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Tigers notched 11 hits in the North Eastern Conference win over the Irish.
Michael Besel had three hits for Wrightstown, while Bennett Stengel and Rogan Thompson both had two hits. Theo Van Rossum had a solo home run, his first career homer.
Thompson pitched four innings, giving up two runs (one earned) on four walks and two hits to get the win for Wrightstown.
Carlton Romitti had two hits and an RBI for Freedom. Luke Schmidt added two RBIs, and Chase Calmes hit a double.
Oconto Falls 1, Waupaca 0
OCONTO FALLS – Teagan Tate pitched seven innings of one-hit ball, striking out six, as the Panthers downed the Comets in North Eastern Conference play.
Teagan Tate was 1-for-3 with an RBI, while Logan Berg was 1-for-2 with a run scored and one stolen base.
John Zeamer led Waupaca, going 1-for-3.
Carson Jameson took the loss, pitching six innings, while allowing five hits and one earned run, while striking out two.
Seymour 8, Shawano 2
SEYMOUR – The Thunder took a 3-1 lead in the first inning on its way to the win over the Hawks.
Seymour, which had 10 hits, got three hits from both Cayden Staffeldt and Xavier Salzman. Romy Oskey had a double and drove in three runs. Salzman drove in two runs.
Salzman pitched four innings and got the win for Seymour. Brayden Banker pitched the final three innings.
Denmark 13, Clintonville 2
DENMARK – The Vikings scored six times in both the second and third innings in their win over the Truckers.
Denmark had only five hits but took advantage of nine Clintonville walks. Caden Kersten had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Braedon Heezen drove in two runs.
Clintonville got two hits from Conner MaGee, Zach Johnson and Rogan Schertz.
Caden Peterson got the win for Denmark.
Brillion 19, Two Rivers 0
BRILLION – The Lions scored three runs in the first, four in the second, nine in the third and three in the fourth en route to the Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.
Aiden Reinke paced the Brillion offense, going 2-for-3 with five RBIs. Landon Mathes was 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI, and Weston Schmidt was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
Derek Klinkner doubled to help power the Purple Raiders.
Chilton 9, Valders 2
VALDERS – The Tigers built a seven-run lead and cruised to the Eastern Wisconsin Conference win.
Chilton scored three runs in the first and fourth, before adding one in the fifth and two in the seventh.
The Vikings scored their two runs in the fifth.
Easton Wagner led the Tigers, going 3-for-5 with two RBIs, while Kale Wagner and Lucas Groeschl had two hits each.
Carter Valleskey led Valders with two hits and two RBIs.
Hilbert 9, St. Mary Catholic 8
FOX CROSSING – The Wolves scored eight runs in the seventh inning to erase a six-run deficit, and then held on to earn the Big East Conference win.
Trailing 7-1 entering the seventh, Hilbert rallied before giving up one late run as it overcame seven errors.
Brody Hein had two hits and Cashtan Konen had two RBIs to lead the Wolves.
The Zephyrs were led by Caleb Vogel with three hits and an RBI. Jacob Ernsting was 3-for-4 with a triple and two RBIs, and Tarver Trinkner was 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
Winneconne 14, Green Bay East 0
WINNECONNE – The Wolves scored nine runs in the first inning and tacked on three more in the second in cruising past the Red Devils.
Green Bay East had three hits and committed four errors. Two pitchers also walked six batters.
Weyauwega-Fremont 25, Menominee Nation 15
WEYAUWEGA – The Warhawks trailed 12-11 when they scored 10 runs in the fourth inning to break the game open in their win over the Eagles.
Weyauwega-Fremont had 12 hits, while Menominee Nation had five.
Caleb Grignon had two hits, including a double, for Menominee Nation. Craig Penass had two hits, including a double, and drove in four runs.
Hortonville 10, West De Pere 0 (Monday)
HORTONVILLE – Gary Wuest had three hits and drove in five runs to power the Polar Bears to the nonconference win over the Phantoms.
Wuest singled in the first inning to score two runs, doubled in the second to score two and singled in the third to score one.
Isaac Behnke earned the win for Hortonville. The starter surrendered zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out two and walking three.
Little Chute 9, Freedom 3 (Monday)
FREEDOM – The Mustangs led 4-3 after three innings, then scored once in the fifth inning and four runs in the sixth inning to pull away for the win.
Reece Joten and Noah Faccio each had two hits for Little Chute. Blake Ruesch and Griffin Hank each drove in two runs.
Corey Mathison had three hits and three RBIs for Freedom. Elijah Shepard added two hits.
Hank pitched 3⅓ innings to get the win. He allowed six hits, no runs and struck out one.
Waupaca 13, Wrightstown 3 (Monday)
WRIGHTSTOWN – The Comets scored three runs in the first inning and four in the second inning to build a 7-0 lead in the five-inning victory over the Tigers.
Jay Card was 3-for-3, including a double, with three runs scored and five RBIs for Waupaca. Ollie Waller and Dougie Williams each had two hits and an RBI. Reed Rogers added a double and two RBIs.
Anikan Stern pitched a complete game to get the win. He allowed five hits, three earned runs, walked two and struck out five.
Theo Van Rossum had two hits and an RBI for Wrightstown. Van Rossum had a triple and Rogan Thompson had a double.
Campbellsport 12, Chilton 1 (Monday)
CHILTON – The game was tied 1-1 in the fourth inning before the Cougars exploded for the nonconference win over the Tigers.
Jace Goebel had a three-run double in the fourth inning for Campbellsport. The Cougars then scored seven runs in the fifth inning.
Carter Gellings had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs for Campbellsport.

Kimberly 7, Appleton East 0
KIMBERLY – Emily Urban and Ali Vander Wielen each scored two goals for the Papermakers in the Fox Valley Association win over the Patriots.
Lindsey Owens, Kennedy Ebben and Ashlyn Krueger also scored for Kimberly. Katie Owens had two assists.
Luxemburg-Casco 2, Wrightstown 0
LUXEMBURG – Emi Kuhn scored a pair of goals to lead the Spartans past the Tigers in North Eastern Conference action.
Casidee Jacobson added an assist.
Teagan Gunderson made five saves in net for Luxemburg-Casco.

CLINTONVILLE – The Irish scored five goals in the first half in the North Eastern Conference win over the Truckers.
Pulaski 8, Menasha 0 (Monday)
MENASHA – Kara Barber scored two goals for the Red Raiders (2-1-1) in the nonconference win over the Bluejays.
Anya Hasser and Ruth Krause both had one goal and two assists. Other goals were scored by Estella Vieaux, Caitlyn Burkel, Sydney Kunstman and Elizabeth Dornfeld.
Lucia Di Gennaro had one save in goal for Pulaski and Tatum Wentland had zero saves in the combined shutout.
