Real Madrid center-back Raúl Asencio has recovered from the bacterial enterocolitis he suffered during the last few weeks and was able to train by himself at Valdebebas today. Asencio has lost significant weight during this process and will need quite some time before he can make himself available and step on the field, but he’s now healthy and improving his physical condition.
Los Blancos will visit Betis on Friday in what’s expected to be a fairly tough away game for them. Asencio should not be expected to play then, but could potentially be available when Real Madrid visit Espanyol on May 3rd, assuming that he keeps making progress on training.
