In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Liverpool are eyeing a move for Red Bull Leipzig winger Yan Diomande. It has been mentioned that the Reds would have to rival Paris Saint-Germain in the race to land the Ivorian talent this summer.
Diomande’s Impressive Form In German Football This Season
Diomande has enjoyed a good run of form at the German club in this campaign so far as he has put in a run of eye-catching displays for them in the final third. The 19-year-old has found the back of the net 13 times and earned eight assists in 32 matches for Red Bull Leipzig this season across multiple competitions.
The Ivory Coast whizkid is currently among the most gifted wingers in European football. Therefore, the Reds would be wise to go all out to bring him on board later this year.
His current contract at the Red Bull Arena will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Liverpool to snap him up on the cheap in the upcoming transfer window.

Should Liverpool Boss Arne Slot Get Diomande On Board?
Diomande is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some driving runs with it out on the flanks. He has got the vision to create a few inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and can shoot the ball with venom from long range.
The Ivorian youngster can even chip in by scoring and creating his fair share of goals from the wide areas. Diomande is primarily a left-winger but can also serve as a right-sided wide player if told to do so. However, there are some concerns over whether he can cope with the physical side and high intensity of the Premier League.
Diomande would undoubtedly enhance the quality of Liverpool head coach Arne Slot’s attack. He has what it takes to fight for regular first-team football at Anfield next season.
At 19, Diomande has got the potential to be a future star in English football. Hence, Slot would be wise to go all out to get him on board at the end of this campaign.
