Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 31

In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we’ll highlight 10 players to consider adding to your team ahead of Matchday 31.

As a rule of thumb, we’ll try to steer clear of the most obvious picks, instead focusing mainly on players who could offer great value as differentials.

Daniel Batz, Mainz (Goalkeeper, 5.8M, 12%)

Batz could be in for a busy afternoon on Saturday, with Mainz expected to sit deep against Bayern. Such a scenario often benefits goalkeepers from a fantasy perspective and should give him plenty of opportunities to rack up points through saves.

Ozan Kabak, Hoffenheim (Defender, 11.44M, 14%)

A dominant presence in duels and a constant threat from set pieces, Kabak has been one of Hoffenheim’s most consistent Fantasy performers at the back. Heading into a favourable clash with relegation-threatened Hamburg, he has scored at least 190 points in eight of his last nine games.

Ramy Bensebaini, Borussia Dortmund (Defender, 13.05M, 7%)

With Niklas Süle sidelined, Bensebaini looks set to start for Dortmund against a Freiburg side likely to rotate amid a hectic schedule. The Algerian defender made a big impact off the bench against Hoffenheim, scoring 225 points, and his role as the club’s penalty taker further boosts his appeal.

Maximilian Mittelstädt, Stuttgart (Defender, 20.97M, 15%)

After being rested against FC Bayern, Mittelstädt should be in the starting XI at home to Werder this weekend, even if he features against Freiburg in the cup on Thursday. As he showed on Matchday 29 with a 475-point haul, he has one of the highest ceilings among defenders, and Stuttgart will be heavy favourites this weekend.

Patrick Wimmer, Wolfsburg (Midfielder, 4.62M, 0%)

Now fully fit again, Wimmer could prove key to Wolfsburg’s push to avoid relegation ahead of a clash with an underwhelming Gladbach side. The Austrian international has averaged 207 points across his last three games and is coming off a goal and a 255-point haul in Wolfsburg’s morale-boosting win over Union Berlin.

Chris Führich, Stuttgart (Midfielder,6.5M, 3%)

Führich has been one of Stuttgart’s most reliable performers in recent weeks, delivering back-to-back returns of over 200 points. With a favourable home game against Werder ahead, he looks like a strong differential – although potential rotation after Thursday’s cup match is a slight concern.

Alexis Claude-Maurice, Augsburg (Midfielder, 20.3M, 26%)

After three consecutive 200+ returns, Claude-Maurice managed just 84 points against Leverkusen, largely due to Augsburg spending most of the match defending. This weekend’s clash with Frankfurt should be more open, and given Augsburg’s favourable run-in, he looks like a great option for the rest of the season.

Bazoumana Touré, Hoffenheim (Striker, 7.39M, 3%)

Touré exploded for 345 points on Matchday 29, but followed it up with a quiet outing against Dortmund. That match offered little attacking opportunity, but against a vulnerable Hamburg side, Hoffenheim are expected to dominate – making Touré a strong option this weekend.

Romulo, RB Leipzig (Striker, 11.25M, 4%)

With many managers already owning Yan Diomande, doubling up on Leipzig’s attack could pay off. Romulo hasn’t scored in his last two games, but with Leipzig heavily favoured against Union Berlin, he should have a decent chance of getting a good return.

Deniz Undav, Stuttgart (Striker, 19.16M, 14%)

Back from suspension, Undav is firmly back on the Fantasy radar. The German international enjoyed a brilliant run between Matchdays 24 and 27, underlining his high ceiling and goal threat.
