The 2026 NFL Draft is here, and the city of Pittsburgh is nearly ready to announce the 21st overall pick in front of a sea of Steeler faithful.
After weeks of preparation, the stage is quite literally set for the commencement of the first draft in the city of bridges in nearly a century.
Since it was announced that the spectacle would return to Western Pennsylvania, Steeler supporters far and wide have made their predictions on who Pittsburgh will take in round one in front of the city and its fans.
With just a few hours until the big moment, what time exactly can Steeler fans anticipate the 21st overall pick to be announced?
Steelers projected to choose late Thursday evening
The Las Vegas Raiders will officially be on the clock shortly after the draft’s 8 p.m. EST start. This season, the NFL reduced the time teams have to make their first-round selections from 10 minutes to eight minutes.
In hopes of moving the draft along quicker, Steeler fans may not have to wait as long for their moment. Assuming the 20 teams ahead of Pittsburgh use most, if not all, of their allotted time, the Steelers will be drafting their next player between 10:50 and 11:10 EST. This timeline holds assuming Pittsburgh does not trade up or down leading up to the selection.
