It’s time for the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh!
Believe it or not, it’s two months since the Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl at the home of the San Francisco 49ers. They enter the draft with just four picks, starting at No. 32 overall, but with expectations that they may not even pick at all on Thursday night.
Seattle retained most of its free agents, but there are still significant voids in the secondary with the departures of Riq Woolen and Coby Bryant, as well as pass rush questions after Boye Mafe’s exit and the soon-to-be expiring contracts of Derick Hall and Uchenna Nwosu. Kenneth Walker III went to the Kansas City Chiefs, so running back is a position Seattle could look to invest through the draft (again). Not a whole lot of needs for the Seahawks, which somewhat offsets the paucity of picks.
Field Gulls is your place for complete NFL Draft coverage throughout the week, including a live streamed draft watch party with my Seahawks Syndicate colleagues Dan Viens, Bryce Coutts, and Brandon Cain. Check the video below and join us in the chat and watch along!
NFL Draft Round 1 start time, TV network options
Round 1 airs live on ESPN, ABC, and the NFL Network at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT. With the first round clock now down from 10 to eight minutes per pick, the night should end a little sooner. It is estimated that the Seahawks’ pick time will be between 8:00 to 8:30 pm PT, assuming there are no trades for Seattle.
Of course, that could be off by a few minutes, so might as well just tune in to Field Gulls to stay on top of everything that transpires in Round 1. Refresh this tracker regularly so you know how soon the Seahawks are on the clock.
