Real Madrid were dealt a double blow earlier this week as it was confirmed that both Eder Militao and Arda Guler were sidelined with hamstring injuries.
Both players will not play for the team again this season which comes as a bitter blow for Alvaro Arbeloa & co., whose La Liga title hopes are hanging by a thread.
Guler to be back for the World Cup
Now, providing an update on the situation, Fabrizio Romano reports that Guler will recover and be ready and available in time for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The versatile midfielder’s injury is not expected to hurt his chances of representing Turkey at the summer extravaganza in North America.
This will come as a huge relief for the Turkish national team, for Guler is one of their most important players and having him at the World Cup will be key to their chances of advancing in the tournament.

Turkey are part of Group D at the World Cup and begin their campaign on 14 June against Australia, before facing Paraguay on 20 June and hosts USA six days later.
It gives Guler around six to seven weeks to fully recover from his injury and get back in shape for the tournament.
So far this season, the 21-year-old playmaker has featured 50 times for Real Madrid, scoring six and assisting 14 goals.
He has 28 caps for the Turkish national team, in which he has found the back of the net on six occasions and recording seven assists, one of which came in the World Cup qualification playoffs semi-final against Romania last month.
