Check out the special behind-the-scenes moment from the Detroit Lions draft room as they selected Clemsonoffensive tackle Blake Miller at No. 17 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft.
The Lions released the behind-the-scenes video showing general manager Brad Holmes calling Miller to inform him that Detroit would be draftin him at No. 17. Holmes then passed the phone to head coach Dan Campbell, who expressed his excitement for Miller’s Motor City arrival.

As the video closed, principal owner and chairwoman Sheila Ford Hamp complimented the newest Lions star for his hard work throughout his collegiate career and again voiced optimism for his impact on the team moving forward.
Entering Friday night, the Lions have eight draft picks remaining across the remaining six rounds of the three-day NFL draft.
Day 2 of the 2026 NFL draft (rounds two and three) from outside Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN, ABC, NFL Network, with streaming available via Fubo (offers free trial to first-time subscribers).
