Saturday wraps up the 2026 NFL Draft with Rounds 4, 5, 6, and 7. The New Orleans Saints focused on offense with their first round choice, drafting Arizona State Sun Devils wide receiver Jordyn Tyson at eighth overall. In Day 2, the Saints checked off a need at defensive tackle by selecting Christen Miller of Georgia in round two, then doubled down on Bulldogs by drafting tight end Oscar Delp in the third round.
Barring trades, New Orleans has five choices on Saturday. The Saints have two selections in the fourth round (132 and 136 overall), two in the fifth (150 and 172), and one in the sixth (190) to finish off their day. Here are some of the remaining available offensive targets to watch for the Saints through the final rounds.
Wide Receiver
- Elijah Sarratt, Indiana
- Skyler Bell, UConn
- Deion Burks, Oklahoma
- Harrison Wallace, Mississippi
- Bryce Lance, North Dakota State
- Colbie Young, Georgia
- Josh Cameron, Baylor
- Eric McAllister, TCU
- Reggie Virgil, Texas Tech
- CJ Daniels, Miami
- Brenan Thompson, Mississippi State
- Eric Rivers, Georgia Tech
New Orleans checked off a major need with the selection of Jordyn Tyson in the first round. Remember though, that Tyler Shough was throwing to the likes of Mason Tipton, Kevin Austin, Dante Pettis, and Ronnie Bell to end last year. Better depth and competition at this position is needed. Additionally, the Saints have found some gems at wide receiver that were picked in the later rounds (Marques Colston) or not drafted at all (Lance Moore, Willie Snead, Deonte Harris, Rashid Shaheed). The fact that Elijah Sarratt is still available coming into Day 3 is one of the biggest shockers in the draft, even at a position with such terrific depth.
Running Back
- Mike Washington Jr., Arkansas
- Kaytron Allen, Penn State
- Nicholas Singleton, Penn State
- Roman Hemby, Indiana
- J’Mari Taylor, Virginia
- Desmond Reid, Pitt
- Robert Henry, UTSA
Yes, the Saints checked off a big need by adding Travis Etienne in free agency. However, there are major questions surrounding Alvin Kamara after 2026, second-year back Devin Neal is somewhat unproven, and Kendre Miller has only shown that he can’t be relied on to stay on the field. If Kellen Moore sees a back on the board he likes for his system in Day 3, the Saints will take him.
Tight End
- Justin Joly, NC State
- Dae’Quan Wright, Mississippi
- Dallen Bentley, Utah
- Joe Royer, Cincinnati
- Tanner Koziol, Houston
Not a need with the presence of Juwan Johnson, newly-signed Noah Fant, and newly-drafted Oscar Delp. With late-round picks being all about value, system fit, and upside, then this wouldn’t necessarily be a ”wasted pick” as unintelligent fans like to say. If the Saints pick a tight end, it’ll be a player that can block and/or has good potential as a pass catcher.
Offensive Line
- Jalen Farmer, Kentucky
- Beau Stephens, Iowa
- Anez Cooper, Miami (Fla)
- Jeremiah Wright, Auburn
- Jaeden Roberts, Alabama
- Kage Casey, Boise State
New Orleans improved their offensive line with the free agent addition of David Edwards. The Saints still have some depth concerns and are stuck with Cesar Ruiz as a starter. Therefore, it wouldn’t be an unwise move to select someone to improve depth and perhaps even compete for a starting job down the road.
Quarterback
- Garrett Nussmeier, LSU
- Cole Payton, North Dakota State
- Taylen Green, Arkansas
- Cade Klubnik, Clemson
Thankfully, quarterback is not a need thanks to the performance of second round pick Shough last season. The fall of Nussmeier, Drew Allar, and Klubnik are particularly stunning after they were looked at as strong first round possibilities last offseason. New Orleans also has a decent backup in Spencer Rattler and brought in Zach Wilson for some competition. While highly unlikely, Moore could see one of these remaining signal callers as a developmental possibility. After all, nobody viewed Tom Brady, Kirk Cousins, Dak Prescott, or Brock Purdy as future starters when they were late-round draft picks.
