We move on to the final day of the draft. The Cowboys have three fourth-round picks so the early part of the day should be exciting

Let the fun begin!

This is an open thread for draft chat.

In the comments below, let us know who you think the Cowboys pick on Day 3.

Cowboys 2026 draft picks:

  • Round 1, pick 11: S Caleb Downs
  • Round 1, pick 23: EDGE Malachi Lawrence
  • Round 3, pick 92: LB/EDGE Jaishawn Barham
  • Round 4, pick 112
  • Round 4, pick 114
  • Round 4, pick 137
  • Round 5, pick 152: Traded for 49ers LB Dee Winters
  • Round 7, pick 218

There is always the possibility of a trade from the Cowboys. We’ll note any moves made here.

The Cowboys have traded pick 152 in the fifth round to the 49ers for linebacker Dee Winters. Turns out this rumor of getting a veteran linebacker was true.

Cowboys rumors:

The George Pickens trade rumors have died down.

The Cowboys may also be interested in trading for a veteran linebacker instead of forcing one in the draft because of need.DONE

Cowboys needs:

EDGE: The Micah Parsons trade left a huge hole at pass rusher, the Cowboys need an injection of talent.

LB: It’s basically DeMarvion Overshown or bust at LB. Shemar James may make a leap, but Dallas needs a starter here.

CB: Trevon Diggs’ departure and DaRon Bland’s injury issues means the team needs help. The current depth is lackluster.

S: Christian Parker’s scheme needs quality safeties, something the Cowboys have a lack of except for free agent addition Jalen Thompson.

WR: George Pickens is on a one-year franchise tag. Getting another contender for the future is a solid move.

OT: Tyler Guyton and Terence Steele both have their faults. Adding a decent swing tackle makes sense.
