Alabama defensive lineman LT Overton selected in 2026 NFL draft

Former Alabama defensive lineman LT Overton has been drafted by the Dallas Cowboys.

Overton was selected with the No. 137 pick in the fourth round, as the talented big man will look to shine throughout his rookie campaign in Dallas.

The former Crimson Tide star spent the first two years of his college career at Texas A&M prior to transferring to Alabama in 2024, as Overton quickly established himself as a focal point on the Tide’s defensive line. Overton recorded 42 total tackles, six TFL and four sacks during his final season on the college level, as the athletic lineman could quickly become a difference maker in the NFL following a strong collegiate career.

At 6-foot-5, 278 pounds, Overton was one of the top remaining overall players on the board prior to the Cowboys drafting him at No. 137. The talented lineman has excellent athleticism and size, as Overton will look to make an impact on the Dallas defensive line in 2026.
