With the 2026 NFL draft in the books, the Detroit Lions have turned their attention to signing their undrafted free agent class.
The Lions currently have 16 vacancies on their 90-man offseason roster. Here are the players expected to sign UDFA contracts.
Luke Altmyer, QB, Illinois
Three-year starter at Illinois who transferred from Ole Miss and finished with 7,924 yards in his career. Lions assistant Marcus Tuiasosopo coached Altmyer at the Senior Bowl – per multiple reports.
Melvin Priestly, OG, Illinois
Started two years at right tackle and played more than 1,200 snaps at left tackle in his career. – per The Schultz Report.
Aamaris Brown, DB, UNLV
Had four interceptions and 3½ sacks in 13 starts last year – per UNLV football.
Anthony Lucas, edge, USC
Started his college career at Texas A&M, had three sacks in 2025 – per USC football.
Miles Kitselman, TE, Tennessee
Block-first tight end played two seasons at Alabama and caught 26 passes in 11 starts at Tennessee last year – per Tennessee football.
Aidan Keanaaina, DL, Cal
Had 56 tackles last season, the most by a Cal defensive lineman since Cam Jordan (62) in 2010 – per CBS Sports.
Eric O’Neill, DL, Rutgers
Started final 47 games of his career, had 2½ sacks in 2025 – per Rutgers football.
De’Shawn Rucker, CB, USF
Played three seasons at Tennessee, had first career interception in 2025 – per USF Football.
Erick Hunter, LB, Morgan State
Second all-time in tackles at Morgan State with 298 – per NFL Network.
