Let’s look where the Las Vegas Raiders’ pass-rushers look after the draft:

New free agent added:

Kwity Paye.

Free agent who departed:

None.

Free agent who returned:

Malcolm Koonce.

Current free agents:

Released:

None.

Traded:

Tyree Wilson (New Orleans Saints).

Returners:

Maxx Crosby, Koonce, Brennan Jackson, Charles Snowden.

Draft:

Keyron Crawford of Auburn in the third round, No. 67 overall.

Conclusion:

The Raiders are moving to a 3-4 base defense. After his botched trade to the Baltimore Ravens, Crosby is back and will be the focal point of this group. Koonce and Paye will likely be linebackers when the Raiders are in their base. But all will have a role. Crawford is a project who was probably drafted for the future with Koonce a free agents next year. If Crawford gets some playing time as a rookie, it could be a bonus for Las Vegas. Wilson was an odd-man out.
