It’s clear that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dillon Brooks are cool with each other — they both are members of Team Canada in hoops tournaments.
And now, SGA’s Oklahoma City Thunder swept Brooks’ Phoenix Suns, not long after Brooks called the star guard “a little frail.” After the series was over, Gilgeous-Alexander was gracious, saying Brooks is “a great guy” and “all that villain stuff… doesn’t faze me.” Really nice words! Like I said, you can tell they’re respectful of each other.
All that said, the two are now going at each other on social media. Gilgeous-Alexander posted a series of photos on Instagram with this caption:
everybody wants to be villainousuntil the brooms come out& the dust settles& you realize who the villain is
And one of those photos showed Brooks with a “Cancun on 3” jersey. OUCH!
