With the 2026 NFL Draft now a thing of the past, the Buffalo Bills’ offseason schedule moves onto the next phase: Rookie minicamp, which starts one week from today at the team’s facilities in Orchard Park.
The offseason schedule also includes Organized Team Activities (OTA) offseason workouts, which are scheduled for May 18 and 19, May 21, May 26 through 28, and June 1 through 4, before wrapping up the spring program with mandatory minicamp taking place June 9-11.
These sessions will offer Brandon Beane and Joe Brady their first chance to size up the talent on the roster as the Bills begin their quest for a Super Bowl championship, and will give players an opportunity to state their case for earning a spot on the 53-man roster.
Before the Bills rookies and veterans come together for offseason workouts, today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks offers up a few 53-man roster predictions and examines which veterans could be on the outside looking in when roster cuts are made.
Examining what Buffalo’s 53-man roster looks like
With the Bills adding 10 players via the 2026 NFL Draft, expect a tough competition to crack the 53-man roster at several positions, including the wide receiver room, along both the offensive and defensive lines, and in the secondary.
Among those who could be fighting for a roster spot: wide receivers Mecole Hardman Jr. (pictured below), Jalen Virgil, and Trent Sherfield, safeties Damar Hamlin and Sam Franklin Jr., defensive tackles DeWayne Carter, Zion Logue, and Phidarian Mathis, and offensive linemen Lloyd Cushenberry III, Chase Lundt, and Nick Broeker.
