German FA agrees bumper deal with US sticker book firm

The German Football Federation (DFB) has signed a new multi-million deal for the distribution of player trading cards and stickers with a US company, which will market the products for Germany’s men’s and women’s teams from 2031.

Contract details were not disclosed between the DFB and the Fanatics subsidiary Topps. The Bild newspaper on Friday reported the cooperation is planned for at least two World Cup cycles.

This would include Euro 2032 in Italy and Turkey, the 2034 World Cup in Saudi Arabia as well as the still unawarded Euro 2036 and the 2038 World Cup.

Until the start of the new partnership, Germany fans will still be able to buy the collectibles for World Cups from Panini. The Italian company first put a sticker album on sale in Germany for Euro 1984.

At European Championships, Topps has already been the provider of these fan products since 2024.
