Nebraska’s regular-season of 43-6 marked a program-best .878 regular-season win percentage. The Huskers’ 23-1 Big Ten record is also a program best and ties the Big Ten record for conference wins in a season, excluding the 2021 COVID-19 season.
Nebraska proved itself the outright conference champs in the batter’s box, totaling 15 hits and four home runs for 12 RBIs. Jordy Frahm accounted for two home runs, finishing the day 4-for-4 with three RBIs. Jesse Farrell and Alexis Jensen contributed one home run apiece. Jensen (21-2) also won in the pitching circle, tossing 4.0 innings in relief and throwing four strikeouts against five hits and two runs.
Kylee Magee started the game and threw three strikeouts against four hits and three runs across 3.0 innings. Hannah Coor and Kacie Hoffmann both finished 2-for-4. Ava Kuszak and Lauren Camenzind each earned one hit and two RBIs.
The Huskers now head to College Park, Maryland, for the 2026 Big Ten Softball Tournament, which is set to begin on Wednesday. Nebraska earned a first-round bye and the No. 1 seed in the tournament and will play on Thursday.
