SC Freiburg have been dealt an injury setback ahead of the second leg of their Europa League semi-final against SC Braga on Thursday.
The Breisgau side announced on Monday that Yuito Suzuki suffered a fractured collarbone during their 1-1 draw with VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday.
Suzuki has already undergone surgery and will be sidelined “for the time being,” the Bundesliga club said.
With the season nearing its end, the 24-year-old is unlikely to feature again for Freiburg in the current campaign.
The Japan international has recorded nine goals and seven assists in 41 appearances across all competitions this season.
