Oklahoma Gold Glover taken in the 2026 AUSL Draft

There’s another Oklahoma Sooners star heading to the big leagues. OU softball’s Ailana Agbayani was selected by the Chicago Bandits with the first pick of the third round in the 2026 AUSL Draft.

Agabayani has been a rock-solid piece to Oklahoma’s defense, earning Gold Glove accolades in 2025 for her work in the middle infield, along with an All-SEC defensive team selection last season.

But she’s been handy with the bat in Patty Gasso’s lineup, upping her batting average from .314 in her first year with the Sooners in 2025 to .385 this season. She’s also seen her production at the plate get a bump with more home runs, a better on-base percentage, and fewer strikeouts than last season.

Agbayani is one of 12 Sooners in the AUSL, the most-represented school in the league. She’ll join OU legend Jocelyn Alo and one-time Sooner turned Florida Gator Jocelyn Erickson in Chicago this season.
