OG Anunoby has been everything the New York Knicks have needed him to be in the playoffs and beyond, bringing his two-way game to new heights in the postseason — he’s scored, he’s rebounded and he’s played incredible defense for the team including in a Game 2 Eastern semis win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
But many fans noticed that he wasn’t in the game down the stretch and the ESPN broadcast noted that he wasn’t present on the bench as the clock ticked down. What happened?
We’re still awaiting reporting on what exactly happened here, but video shows that he may have come up limping after he was running to the basket. At the moment, this is all we’ve seen — it’s speculative what the injury could be:
