Kentucky gets a prediction for a 2027 defensive lineman

It has been a good offseason for the Kentucky Wildcats football team thanks to the efforts of new head coach Will Stein. He has injected new energy into the program, and it has shown up in their recruiting efforts. He added a number of top talents from the transfer portal, and has already made an impact in the 2027 recruiting class as well.

Corey Randolph is a defensive tackle in the 2027 class out of Illinois. The 6’3″, 300 lb lineman has been targeted by Kentucky, and received an offer in January. He recently took an unofficial visit to Lexington that apparently went well, and has led to a prediction from Rivals analyst Allen Trieu (subscription required).

Randolph praised the Wildcats coaching staff and their ability to develop players. He spoke with position coaches as well as Coach Stein and came away impressed. He’s also set for an official visit in June, while a commitment date hasn’t been set yet.

Getting Randolph to Lexington would be another strong win for Stein. He is currently rated three stars by 247Sports and ranks as the No. 826 overall player on their composite board. The Wisconsin Badgers and Missouri Tigers are also heavily in pursuit. We will continue to follow this story.
