The UFC has held championship competitions in plenty of exotic locations from Australia to Dubai, but never from the front lawn of the White House in the nation’s capital.
After months of preparation, that’s exactly the plan for UFC’s Freedom 250 event, scheduled to be held on the White House lawn in Washington D.C. on June 14 to commemorate the country’s 250th anniversary in 2026. The event will be headlined by lightweight champion Ilia Topuria, who will look to defend his title against Justin Gaethje.
Topuria is a huge -1000 favorite currently, with Gaethje a massive +525 underdog. Topuria (17-0-0) has yet to lose in his MMA career.
There are plenty of other big-name fighters in the main card as well.
