Vanderbilt baseball had its series opener against Missouri on May 8 moved back one hour to a 7 p.m. start due to weather, the Tigers’ program announced.
Forecast for Columbia, Missouri, shows a chance of rain through 8 p.m.
The game will be held at Taylor Stadium and streamed on SEC Network+.
This is the third game in the last week that had its start time altered due to weather. A May 1 game against Alabama was moved from an evening to afternoon first pitch, while a May 5 game against Louisville was moved up two hours and endured two separate weather delays at Hawkins Field.
Game 2 is scheduled for 4 p.m. CT on May 9 and Game 3 for 1 p.m. CT on May 10.
Both Vanderbilt (28-22, 10-14 SEC) and Missouri (21-26, 4-20) got swept in their most recent series. The Commodores have won 10 of 11 series against the Tigers since Missouri joined the SEC.
