Browns invite former first round WR to rookie minicamp for a tryout

The Cleveland Browns selected two wide receivers in the first 40 picks of the 2026 NFL Draft, but that has not stopped them from looking for more talent to overhaul the wide receiver room. Former 2020 NFL Draft first round pick Jalen Reagor is in Cleveland for rookie minicamp on a tryout basis, looking for a shot to sign on the 90-man roster.

He is one of many tryouts in Cleveland this weekend for minicamp, as we also get our first look at the Browns’ rookie class, including the two wide receivers, KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston. We’ll see if Reagor can stand out among the two top-end rookie talents he will stand next to all weekend.

What are Reagor’s chances of making the Browns?

Not good.

Jerry Jeudy is not going anywhere, and the two rookie receivers are going to see the field plenty. If Reagor wants to make the Browns’ roster, even the 90-man, he is going to have to convince the brass that he is better than the likes of Isaiah Bond, Malachi Corley, and Jamari Thrash.

There is a reason that Reagor has bounced around the league to this point despite his status as a former first round pick.
