While things around the NFL were mostly quiet on Friday, the Tennessee Titans made a minor roster move aimed at adding more competition, further crowding the wide receiver room.
The Titans claimed and were awarded wide receiver Courtney Jackson off waivers from the New York Giants. Originally an undrafted rookie free agent with the Denver Broncos following the 2025 NFL Draft, Jackson had signed with the Giants early in the offseason after spending all of 2025 on the Seattle Seahawks practice squad.

The 5-foot-11, 189-pound Jackson is an experienced receiver and return specialist who earned an All-ACC mention from Pro Football Focus (PFF) after leading Syracuse in receiving in 2021, before eventually transferring to Arkansas State to finish his college career. He ended his time at Arkansas State with 81 receptions for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns, and added another 31 returns for 438 yards and three touchdowns in two seasons.
To make room for Jackson, Tennessee parted ways with wide receiver Hal Presley, who had signed a futures contract in January.
