Steelers GM Omar Khan raises concerns over Aaron Rodgers meeting

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers were reportedly set to meet this weekend to discuss the 2026 season, but those intentions may have fallen apart. And general manager Omar Khan’s comments aren’t helping the situation.

Making an appearance on the You Better You Bet podcast, Khan was asked about the recent Rodgers rumors, and his response hardly instilled confidence that a meeting between the veteran quarterback and the Steelers was imminent.

“I don’t know where specifically Aaron is,” Khan said. “I can tell you that Aaron and I, and [Mike McCarthy] and Aaron, and Aaron’s representatives, we’ve had some good conversations since the season ended, since Mike got here, and it’s been positive. But, yeah, I don’t know where [Rodgers] is at this moment. We continue to have conversations and they’re positive. And we had a good experience with him last year. I think he would probably echo the same thing. And you know, conversations continue.”

If Khan’s ambiguous comments weren’t worrisome enough, insider Mark Kaboly also cast doubt on a Steelers-Aaron Rodgers meeting this weekend despite initial reports suggesting the contrary.
