Rowers from here, there and everywhere went to the Isles of Scilly for a world championships – and a brotherly duo set off for a trip on their bicycles across the globe.
Elsewhere, there was a funny discovery at Royal Naval Air Station (RNAS) Culdrose and residents in a Devon village found their local railway station’s new fence had a bit of an unexpected design flaw.
And traditional parties returned to parts of the region – including a regally named event in Cornwall.
