The Cleveland Cavaliers are at home on Saturday afternoon as they host the Detroit Pistons in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
For the Cavaliers, they enter Saturday’s contest trailing 0-2 in the series after losing on the road to the Pistons in Game 2 on Thursday night despite a big performance from Donovan Mitchell.
Now Cleveland will try to bounce back at home in Game 3 on Saturday as they look to avoid falling into a 0-3 hole in the series by grabbing a key victory over Detroit.
While the Cavaliers are looking to pick up a victory in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals on Saturday afternoon, they may be without one of their key players due to injury.
Cavaliers list Sam Merrill as questionable for Game 3
For the Cavaliers, they have only one player listed on their injury report as they have listed Sam Merrill as questionable.
Cleveland has listed Merrill as questionable due to a left hamstring strain and he is in danger of missing his second straight contest after sitting out Game 2 on Thursday.
If Merrill is sidelined once again, Max Strus, Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis could all be in line for increased roles.
Outside of Merrill, the rest of the Cavaliers’ roster is healthy entering Saturday’s matchup as they try to pick up a key victory to avoid being down 0-3 in the series.
