Watch: Panthers WR Chris Brazzell II makes specular catch at rookie minicamp

If there are any winners to be named out of rookie minicamp, then the Carolina Panthers may have to hand their honors to wide receiver Chris Brazzell II.

After turning heads during the team’s first outing on Friday, the 6-foot-4 pass catcher opened some eyes on Saturday—with this spectacular play . . .

Yeah, yeah—maybe the grab would’ve been better had he kept his feet inside the end zone. But for his second pro practice, that ain’t too bad.

Brazzell was asked about his experience over the last few days following the session.

“Fun, man,” he replied. “This is my favorite team, so to be out here is a blessing. I wouldn’t wanna be anywhere else.”

As he noted soon after being taken in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft two weeks ago, Brazzell grew up a Panthers fan. He then grew into a first-team All-SEC selection for the University Tennessee, where he recorded 62 receptions for 1,017 yards and a conference-leading nine touchdowns in 2025.

Even though we’re still in the very early stages of the offseason workout program, Brazzell’s speed and athleticism are quite evident already. So perhaps this Panthers fan will make his fellow faithful even happier as the real football draws closer.
