Chelsea are preparing an offer worth €38m for Bologna forward Jonathan Rowe this summer according to reports.

The Blues were very quiet in January, but the expectation is Chelsea will once again be busy this summer, with a lot of business needing to be done.
The Blues need to sell a number of players, whilst they are said to be in the market for a centre back, and want to add another midfielder and attacker.

Chelsea face a critical summer in terms of signings and appointing a new head coach as they look to close the gap on the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City.
The Blues have been heavily criticised for their youth centred recruitment policy, but co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked.
Despite signing four attackers last summer, and with Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving in the summer, the Blues want to add one more.
Chelsea have been linked with Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon, but Gazzetta dello Sport via SportWitness have reported he Blues are plotting a move for Jonathan Rowe.
The report states Galatasaray are currently the front runners, but Chelsea are preparing an offer of €38m for Rowe with the only thing stopping them a lack of Champions League football next season.
The 23-year-old joined Bologna last summer from Marseille, and has scored seven goals and registered four assists in 41 appearances this season.
