Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise is in the midst of a crazy statistical season where he has been equally as lethal as a goal scorer and playmaker.
How good has Olise been? Well, within the Bundesliga he has hit a statistical milestone that only one other player has hit since the advent of stat collection by Squawka in the 2004/05 season:
Squawka also provided a side-by-side comparison of the seasons had by Olise and then-Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho:
For the season overall, Olise has 22 goals and 30 assists in 50 games across all competitions. It has truly been an amazing campaign for Olise, who has been a consistent threat all season.
In the coming days, Bayern Munich will attempt to secure the DFB-Pokal and a domestic double and Olise has been one of the most key players to the squad’s effort in getting to this point.
Olise scored the only goal in Bayern Munich’s 1-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday.
