Indianapolis Colts‘ general manager Chris Ballard will reportedly be on the University of Wisconsin’s search committee as the school looks to identify its next athletic director.
Now-former AD Chris McIntosh stepped down in April to be the Big Ten Conference’s deputy commissioner for strategy. He had been the Badgers‘ AD since 2021.
Along with Ballard, Michael Finley, Rob Cramer, Meghan Duggan, Marija Pientka, Michael Shannon, and Williams Smith also make up the search committee.
ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg is also reporting that Wisconsin will use a search firm as well.
Ballard is a UW-Madison alum and played for the Wisconsin football team. He has been the Indianapolis Colts’ general manager since the 2017 NFL season.
