All eyes were on the top collegiate prospects at the NBA Draft Combine Monday, including former Duke forward Cameron Boozer.
Measurements on the players were taken Monday; strength, agility and shooting drills will follow Tuesday. Scrimmages run afterward on both Wednesday and Thursday.
Cameron Boozer’s official measurements
Height: 6 feet, 8.25 inches
Weight: 252.8 pounds
Wingspan: 7 feet, 1.5 inches
Standing reach: 9 feet
Afterward, many were quick to compare Boozer’s numbers to those of Caleb Wilson, another power forward prospect from the University of North Carolina.
Although Wilson is taller, Boozer has a larger wingspan and is much more muscular, weighing in 42 pounds heavier than the UNC star.
However, some draft experts believe that Wilson’s lean frame makes him a stronger prospect due to his athleticism.
If the top-two picks go as many expect, positions three and four will be between Wilson and Boozer.
