The Golden State Warriors won’t be looking for a new head coach this off season, as they made Steve Kerr’s new, multi-year contract official.
Included in the official release from the team was a statement from Kerr himself, who is unsurprisingly excited to remain in his role with the Warriors.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue coaching this team,” Kerr said in the statement. “This organization has meant so much to me for the last 12 years – from ownership to our players, our staff and our fans – and it’s an incredible privilege to be a part of something so special. I’m excited to keep competing with this group.”
