Texans sign five rookies to contracts ahead of schedule release

The Houston Texans agreed to terms on rookie contracts with five of their eight draft selections over the past 24 hours. On Tuesday, Houston announced it had signed linebacker Aiden Fisher and defensive tackle Kayden McDonald.

On Wednesday, the Texans announced that wide receiver Lewis Bond, linebacker Wade Woodaz and defensive back Kamari Ramsey had all signed their contracts.

The Texans still must agree to terms with first-round pick Keylan Rutledge, second-round pick Marlin Klein and fourth-round pick Febechi Nwaiwu.

The 2026 schedule premiere is set for tomorrow at 7 p.m. CT.
