Caitlin Clark and Kate Martin are up to their wholesome shenanigans again.
Over the years, the Indiana Fever guard and her former Iowa Hawkeyes teammate have made it a point to catch up ― with adorable hugs ― whenever their teams play. It happened when Martin played for the Las Vegas Aces, and then when she moved on to the Golden State Valkyries. Clark and Martin’s tradition has now continued with the latter’s transition to the Los Angeles Sparks.
And, it’s exactly as sweet as it sounds.
On Wednesday, after an 87-78 Fever win, Clark and Martin found one another for a postgame reunion hug. In emotional moment, the pair embraced for several seconds before chatting away, whispering into one another’s ears and departing with big smiles on their faces.

Clark finished her night against the Sparks with 24 points, nine assists, four rebounds, two steals and a block. Martin, who is on a developmental contract with the Sparks, did not take the floor.
The Indiana Fever superstar and her best friend will see each other again on Saturday, June 27, when the Indiana hosts Los Angeles and again on Wednesday, July 8, back at crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
