The Philadelphia Eagles are reportedly headed for another marquee matchup late in the 2026 season. According to Ryan Fowler of NBC Sports Philadelphia, the Eagles will host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 15 on Saturday at Lincoln Financial Field.
The matchup could carry massive playoff implications in the NFC and features two teams expected to compete for conference supremacy throughout the season. Seattle enters 2026 after earning the NFC’s No. 1 seed with a 14-3 record during Sam Darnold’s first season as the team’s starting quarterback and Mike Macdonald’s second year as head coach.
Darnold went on to lead the Seahawks to a Super Bowl win over the New England Patriots.
The Eagles, meanwhile, finished 11-6 in 2025 and once again enter the season with Super Bowl expectations and one of the NFL’s most talented rosters. A Saturday showcase between the Eagles and Seahawks would continue the NFL’s trend of highlighting high-stakes late-season games in standalone television windows, with Saturday games reportedly scheduled from Weeks 15 to 18. The physical style both teams play with, combined with elite defensive talent and explosive offenses, should make this one of the most anticipated games on Philadelphia’s schedule.

Seattle represents one of eight playoff teams from last season currently scheduled to face the Eagles in 2026, reinforcing how difficult Philadelphia’s road will be this year.
The Eagles have also developed a recent history with Seattle, including several emotional and tightly contested matchups over the past decade. With playoff positioning potentially on the line in December, the atmosphere at Lincoln Financial Field should be among the loudest of the season if the report becomes official during the NFL’s full schedule release.
