Here’s a fun fact most wouldn’t have expected: Scottie Scheffler, world No. 1 and winner of four major championships, has never led a major championship after Round 1.
Until Thursday.
Scheffler is one of seven golfers who shot a 3-under 67 Thursday at the PGA Championship. The T1 finish marks the frist time he’s led after 18 holes.
On the flip side, Rory McIlroy (+4) and Bryson DeChambeau (+6) are already on the wrong side of the cutline.
