Fenway Park Crowd Blasts Red Sox Ownership in Viral Moment

Fenway Park – Boston Red Sox

The Boston Red Sox faced off against the Philadelphia Phillies on Thursday night and the fanbase had a clear message for ownership: “Sell the team.”

The contest was a close and competitive one, for the most part. The score was tied at zero heading into the eighth inning before old friend Kyle Schwarber blasted his league-leading 18th homer of the season to kick off the scoring

An error, a single, a hit by pitch, and a successful challenge from Philadelphia led to two more runs. It has been a difficult season, to say the least, for Boston and the fanbase at Fenway Park let ownership hear it on Thursday after the brutal eighth inning.

Fans took to X with the message as well.

Just a brutal stretch, to say the least.
