This year’s defending champions are New Zealand, winners of the last edition of the World Cup. Other countries expected to have a strong shot at victory include England, India, Australia, and South Africa.

Another interesting aspect of this event is that this will be the first time that the Netherlands have participated in the Women’s T20 World Cup.
