NFL schedule: Bills, Packers dominate list of top-5 most expensive games this season

The 2026 NFL regular-season schedule has officially dropped and the Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers are the hottest ticket in the sport. The Bills and Packers appear in three of the five most-expensive NFL games for the 2026 season, per data compiled by Gametime.

For the Bills, two of those contests will take place at Highmark Stadium, where the team plays its home games. That shouldn’t come as a huge surprise. The Bills are among the best teams in the NFL and have a rabid — and entertaining — fanbase.

Notably, one of the most-expensive games on the 2026 schedule includes a Bills road game, which will take place in Green Bay. While you could attribute that to Bills’ fans being willing to travel, that game’s ranking on the list is more likely due to Packers fans going all out to support their team.

Three Packers home games appear on the list. In addition to their matchup against the Bills, home games vs. the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys rank among the most-expensive in 2026.

Wondering what other teams made the list? Here are the top-5 most expensive games from the 2026 NFL regular-season by get-in price — which is the lowest total cost a fan will pay to attend the game — per Gametime.

Top 5 Most Expensive (Get-In)

  • Lions at Bills (TNF) — Orchard Park, Sept. 17 | 880 listings | Get-In: $604 | Median: $1,230 | Avg: $1,932

  • Bears at Packers — Green Bay, Oct. 11 | 282 listings | Get-In: $531 | Median: $1,025 | Avg: $1,228

  • Bills at Packers (SNF) — Green Bay, Dec. 13 | 556 listings | Get-In: $432 | Median: $782 | Avg: $1,109

  • Cowboys at Packers (SNF) — Green Bay, Oct. 18 | 481 listings | Get-In: $425 | Median: $899 | Avg: $1,244

  • Chiefs at Bills (TNF) — Orchard Park, Nov. 26 | 613 listings | Get-In: $425 | Median: $1,025 | Avg: $1,767

Topping the list is Bills vs. the Detroit Lions, which makes sense. The game will feature two of the best teams in the NFL and will occur in a prime-time slot. The get-in price for that contest is $604, the only game on the 2026 schedule with a get-in price over $550. The Bills’ home game against the Kansas City Chiefs also ranks on the top-5 list, likely due to the rivalry between both franchises, and the opportunity for Chiefs fans to see Allen and Patrick Mahomes duel it out in person.

It probably shouldn’t come as a surprise that the most-expensive Packers ticket involves the rival Bears. The get-in price to see the Bears play in Green Bay is $531. Similarly, the Dallas Cowboys game in Green Bay has a $425 get-in price. Though the Cowboys didn’t make the playoffs last season, the team remains among the most popular in the sport.

If you instead wanted to look at the most-expensive ticket prices by the median ticket cost, a number of those same games would appear on the list, though there’s one notable exception, per Gametime.

Top 5 Most Expensive (Median)

  • Lions at Bills (TNF) — Orchard Park, Sept. 17 | 880 listings | Get-In: $604 | Median: $1,230 | Avg: $1,932

  • Bears at Packers — Green Bay, Oct. 11 | 282 listings | Get-In: $531 | Median: $1,025 | Avg: $1,228

  • Chiefs at Bills (TNF) — Orchard Park, Nov. 26 | 613 listings | Get-In: $425 | Median: $1,025 | Avg: $1,767

  • Cowboys at Packers (SNF) — Green Bay, Oct. 18 | 481 listings | Get-In: $425 | Median: $899 | Avg: $1,244

  • Patriots at Seahawks — Seattle, Sept. 9 | 695 listings | Get-In: $410 | Median: $875 | Avg: $1,191

That exception would be the opening game of the regular season, which features a Super Bowl rematch. The New England Patriots will go on the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday, Sept. 9. The median ticket price for that game is $875. That’s a high total, but can you really put a price on seeing your favorite team celebrate last season’s Super Bowl win?
