In the main event, former UFC champion Ronda Rousey and women’s MMA pioneer Gina Carano battle in what serves as a comeback bout for both fighters. Rousey hasn’t fought since Dec. 30, 2016 when she lost her second straight UFC fight, a TKO loss for the UFC bantamweight championship. Carano, who has been an actress in some big movies, hasn’t competed since she lost to Cris Cyborg in a Strikeforce title fight on Aug. 15, 2009.
Former UFC star Nate Diaz and BKFC star Mike Perry collide in the co-main event. Diaz’s last UFC fight was a submission win over Tony Ferguson on Sept. 10, 2022. Perry, who is 6-0 in the BKFC, hasn’t competed in MMA since losing to Daniel Rodriguez at UFC on ABC 2 on April 10, 2021.
