Social media users have gone wild over a weighing-in video from Canadian mixed martial artist Jade Masson-Wong, who is preparing to fight this Saturday at Intuit Dome.
In the video, 33-year-old Masson-Wong takes the stage dressed in a white blazer dress, but soon removes it to reveal a glittery green bikini. As she steps up on the scale at 129.2 pounds, she gives the crowd a pose full of arrogance. The tattoos all over her body and her charisma made people react strongly when they watched the video online.
Jade Masson-Wong, better known as “Evil Smile,” is a 5-foot-4-inch flyweight fighter with a 3-2 professional record. She has fought both in mixed martial arts and bare-knuckle competitions. She is scheduled to compete against Aline Pereira, the sister of two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira, at a Most Valuable Promotions event to be broadcast on Netflix.
Viewers’ reactions to the video varied. One person questioned the heavily tattooed appearance. “I just don’t get why so many people find this kind of appearance appealing,” he said. “I’d rather see someone with just a little bit of tattoos on their body than a whole graffiti subway car.” Others, however, supported the idea. “She can come beat me up anytime during the week,” wrote one user. “I’ll never fight back.
