Who does Vanderbilt baseball play in SEC Tournament? Seed, opponent, TV

Vanderbilt baseball will be the No. 12 seed in the SEC tournament beginning May 19 and will face Kentucky to open things at Hoover Met in Hoover, Alabama.

The Commodores (32-24, 14-16 SEC) finished tied for 11th in the conference with Oklahoma but lost the tiebreaker. Vanderbilt swept South Carolina to finish its regular season.

The Commodores will be the home team in the matchup with Kentucky, a team that they defeated in a series in Lexington in April.

The game will begin 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Ole Miss/Missouri game, which begins at 9:30 a.m. CT. The game will be televised on SEC Network.

Vanderbilt likely needs to win at least three games in the SEC tournament to have a shot at making the NCAA tournament. Should the Commodores get past Kentucky, they would then face No. 5 seed Florida.
