Jaylen Brown and Stephen A. Smith have been beefing lately, but Brown took it to another level on Sunday.
During his Twitch livestream on Sunday, Brown escalated his public feud with Smith by going off in an NSFW rant. The Boston Celtics superstar clearly didn’t appreciate Smith spreading false rumors about Brown’s relationship with Jayson Tatum and his recent comments about why last season was his favorite one yet.
“What type of journalism is this?… F*** Stephen A,” Brown said. “My offer still stands. You want me to be quiet and stop streaming? I want you to be quiet and get off these networks. You’re using your platform to do clickbait.”
Smith likes to stir up drama and incite strong reactions from fans for a living, but Brown wasn’t having any of it.
“And I’ll tell Stephen A when he sees me in person. I will let you know it’s f*** Stephen A, Stephen B, Stephen C, directly to your face,” Brown added.
Brown and Smith have been firing salvos back and forth at each other over the last week or so, so it will be interesting to see how Smith responds on Monday and if he decides to add more fuel to the fire.
