The Oklahoma City Thunder eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers from the second round of the playoffs with a 115-110 Game 4 win. This marks the fourth time LeBron James has been swept in his career, ending his 23rd NBA season.
James, 41, is now an unrestricted free agent and has not decided if he will return for another season. When asked about his plans after the game, he said, “I don’t know what the future holds for me, obviously.”
Now the Lakers king is having a pure father time at home. He shared a video on social media showing him at home with his sons, Bronny and Bryce. Everyone is sporting matching buzz cuts.
LeBron could be seen lying back on a big couch, smiling widely while saying, “Got the band back together.” He panned the phone camera over to show his sons Bronny and Bryce sitting right next to him on the same couch. They literally blushed when King James showed their haircuts and both immediately covered their heads to hide the new haircut from camera.
“Got the band back together.”
Bron, Bryce, and Bronny back home rocking the same cut 🤣❤️💈

LeBron and Bronny made NBA history in the first round against Houston, becoming the first father-son duo to share the court in an NBA playoff game. Bronny even scored his first career playoff points in Game 3, marking the first father-to-son assist in postseason history.
The King James wasn’t shy about what those moments meant to him. “Every moment we get an opportunity to play together is something I never take for granted,” James said, per NBA.
He added, “Me being on the floor with him postseason, regular season, training camp, practices—it’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my career, above everything I’ve accomplished.”
Bryce, meanwhile, spent the season as a redshirt freshman at Arizona. He sat out to preserve his eligibility, a decision backed by head coach Tommy Lloyd to focus on his long-term physical development. Even without playing time, he was part of the team’s run to the Final Four before they lost to the Michigan Wolverines.
With this, Bryce technically advanced further into March Madness than any other member of his immediate family, even though he didn’t play a single minute.
Now, the entire family is back home. The main question for the summer is whether LeBron will retire or return for a 24th NBA season. His former teammate Dwyane Wade noted that LeBron will take his time with the decision, drink some wine, spend time with his family and evaluate his options. For now, LeBron seems perfectly content doing exactly that.
