The Jamal Crawford dream is alive and well for Kentucky Basketball.

Back in April, it was reported that Mark Pope was pushing to add Crawford to the UK coaching staff. Some viewed it as a desperation play to help land Tyran Stokes, who played at Rainer Beach High School, where Crawford is currently an assistant coach.

Once Stokes went to Kansas, it looked like Crawford was no longer an option, but that changed over the weekend when KSR reported that he was still very much considering Pope’s offer.

Later, KSR’s Jack Pilgrim did an interview with Jamal’s son, JJ Crawford, who is vying to be the No. 1 overall recruit in 2029 and was named MaxPreps’ Co-National Freshman of the Year.

Now, Jamal has shared the article on Twitter with six(!) exclamation mark emojis.

Is Jamal teasing that he will eventually take the offer and come to Lexington? It sure would be the shot in the arm this program needs, especially from a recruiting standpoint.

With Jamal still calling games for NBC during the NBA Western Conference Finals, we likely won’t hear of a final decision until sometime next week at the earliest.
