The San Antonio Spurs will try to feed off the momentum with a 122-115 double overtime win over the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game 1. This Western Conference Final series opened with a bang, with Victor Wembanyama going off on a historic night.
The Spurs big man racked up 41 points and 24 rebounds, which is a record for best debut in a conference finals game. Wemby was also the second player in franchise history to hit the 40-20 mark in the NBA Playoffs, joining David Robinson from 30 years ago.
As for the Thunder, this was a head-to-head clash after going undefeated in the first two rounds. The energy was matched between both teams throughout the game. However, outside Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, the Oklahoma City starters combined for 15 points. Alex Caruso was a huge spark off the bench with 31 points in 32 minutes.
Tipoff from Paycom Center in Oklahoma City is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.

Victor Wembanyama, Stephon Castle, and Dylan Harper have each scored 175+ points this postseason. The 25-26 Spurs are the second team to have three players 22 years old or younger do so in a single postseason all-time (2010-11 Thunder K. Durant, R. Westbrook, J. Harden). pic.twitter.com/bFTnkzOXuN
